Hi, I'm James May, Director of Blackwood Homes.
Blackwood Homes is a proudly family owned and operated building company based in North West Auckland. With over 25 years of industry experience and a proud third generation building heritage, we bring a wealth of knowledge, craftsmanship, and practical expertise to every project we undertake.
Built on the foundations of honesty, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships, our reputation is built on delivering homes that are thoughtfully designed, expertly constructed, and built to stand the test of time.
As a Licensed Building Practitioner, I am personally involved throughout every stage of the building process, from initial concept and planning through to completion. This hands on approach ensures every project receives the attention to detail, quality control, and commitment it deserves.
I am passionate about creating solutions and overcoming challenges. Every site, budget, and vision is different, and I enjoy working closely with clients to find practical and innovative solutions that maximise value while delivering exceptional results.
